I have.

I really like them, actually.

Even though, I am not a vegetarian.

I avoid eating too much meat for health reasons.

Oh, so, do you use such meat substitutes as soy meat or veggie patties in your own cooking?

I do sometimes.

Especially, when making meals such as gyoza or recipes that are called minced meat.

Plant-based meat substitutes are becoming more available in Japan as well.

Hopefully, it will have a positive impact on the environment.
