片方は単数形、もう片方は複数形なのに
同じものをさしている例をみてみよう

A robot：ある一台のロボット
The machines：その機械
A robot = The machines に見える
each：「それぞれの」のニュアンスが隠れている

一人ひとりの客が、それぞれa robotに注文をだす
100人の客⇔それぞれ自分担当のロボットに注文、複数のロボットを思い描く→machines
