That’s so impressive that these scientists could create a reliable model of something as complex as Eath’s climate.
Yes, many people believed for years that the climate and weather patterns had too many variables to be accurately predicted.
I suppose most people looked at such complex systems and assume what happens is all chance.
（chance：偶然）
But even if things like weather patterns and climate changes look like chance to the average person, there are always reasons for why things happened the way they do.
That’s true.
